Case interview practice · McKinsey · BCG · Bain
Practice your case interview with an AI that interviews like McKinsey, BCG and Bain.
A 20-minute case. A score out of 20. Exactly what to fix.
See an interview in action
Example: the AI interviewer presents a coffee-chain profitability case, the candidate structures the problem, asks for data, reads an exhibit on cost per cup, computes the impact and gives a recommendation. The feedback screen then shows a score of 15 out of 20 with a score per criterion.
Real interviewer behaviour. Data only when you ask, exhibits at the right moment, pushback on vague answers.
Speak or type. Think out loud with your microphone; transcription stays on your device.
Feedback you can act on. Five criteria, quotes from your answers, three priorities.
Why it works
Real cases. A real grid. No guesswork.
Cases built from real casebooks
Each case comes from the casebooks candidates actually use, rewritten and recomputed: hidden data you must ask for, exhibits, traps, a model answer.
- Prompt and objective
- Information on request
- Exhibits as data
- Expected answer per step
Scored like a real interviewer
Five criteria, 0 to 4 each. Every point is backed by a quote from your transcript, and asking for help is counted honestly.
You always leave with a plan
Three priorities, an annotated transcript showing what an excellent candidate would have said, and the drill or lesson to do next.
“So costs went up, I think we should cut costs.”
“Beans add €0.19 a cup, €5.7M a year: that is 80% of the margin gap, so I would start there.”

Is the free interview really free?
Yes. You get one full 20-minute case with a score out of 20 and detailed feedback, without a card. A simulation that stops before 2 minutes does not count.
Where do the cases come from?
Each case is adapted from real business-school casebooks used by candidates for McKinsey, BCG and Bain interviews. Names, settings and figures were changed and every calculation was re-checked.
How is my answer scored?
On the five criteria interviewers use: structure, quantitative analysis, exhibits and insights, business sense, and synthesis. Each criterion is scored 0 to 4 from observable indicators quoted from your transcript, so your score is explained line by line and consistent from one interview to the next.
Can I answer out loud?
Yes. Hold the space bar or click the microphone and speak; the transcription runs in your browser, so your voice never leaves your device. The interviewer answers in text.
Do I need to be good at mental maths?
You compute on paper, like in a real interview. Learn and Practice train the maths and the orders of magnitude you need, with a slider mode for estimates.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
The monthly plan can be cancelled in one click from your account. Monthly and the 3-month pack come with a 7-day money-back guarantee if you have done 3 interviews or fewer.
Is CaseToHire affiliated with McKinsey, BCG or Bain?
No. CaseToHire is an independent preparation tool. We reproduce the format and the grading logic of their case interviews, not their brands.
